Lately I've been really busy. Not just with school, but with my own portfolio as well. However, things are coming to an end and it looks like I'll be having a little more spare time soon. Which means more time for hobbies. So, I thought I'd lay out my plan for things to do here. That way you guys (if there's even anyone reading this
) know what's gonna be coming and I have a little checklist of things to do.
As you can see I've uploaded just a few pieces of photography that I made for my portfolio. Since I made these I've had a lot of new and exciting ideas. So I'll be making some new photos soon. If all goes well (I'll be needing the help of some of my friends for a couple of them) I hope to have six to seven new photos soonish.
Before that though, I've really been neglecting my modeling and texturing of models for Halo: Fleet Command. I need to do some serious catching up there and pump out at least five new, fully textured models. Although it won't be on DA, I've also been working with an old friend, Old Dragon, to get a trailer set up. Hopefully that will be finished rather soon too.
Then there's a project I've been working on for quite some time already, and probably will be for some time as well, the recreation of Blast from the future. Blast from the future is a painting from NCIS. It hangs in Abby's lab and is a photo of a shotgun wound developed in neon colors. I'm recreating the painting on a real scale so that I will be able to have it printed on canvas once completed, which is why its taking so long. Not to mention that I'm doing everything manually.
A second project that's been in the works for quite some time now is the Zion project I've been working on. My attempt to recreate the Zion dock is going well, but my focus lies with completing the entire human hovercraft fleet first. Which is, as you might be able to guess, a helluvah job. Its so much. But, I will complete it some day. And I'll keep you guys updated on it in the meantime.
If you're still reading it this far in, kudos to you
And on to the final two project. After all that there's still two things to do, recreate a second painting that's in Abby's lab and finish coloring a sketch my boss made for a coloring contest. Oh, I almost forgot the duet I wanna do with myself in a video. But, that's probably not gonna be on here since it'll be a video.
Its still so much, but like I said, hopefully soon I'll have some more time. I'll just simply start from the top and work my way down the list. There's no real deadline, so that's good, but I would like to finish most of these things before I start applying for an internship so I can use most of them on my portfolio.
Alright, that's it for now. If you've really read all this so far, thanks for listening to me ramble and pretty much listing what I want to do with my spare time for the next ... uuuhm millenium probably
Ciao,
Abyssinian
